I guess I'm an explorer at heart, but I think I'm more of a homebody, I fall easily into a routine of slow evenings and good company.

I can be really observational and random. I like to make people laugh and find the irony of living real life the most divine comedy. I perpetually write, draw and play guitar in my free time. I enjoy crafty things, from restoring antique furniture and home remodeling to ceramic and sculpture. Sometimes I can walk the razors edge, and other days, I'm just a big goof ball. I'm very passionate and creative with my art and life, as living has been a duet of them both. For me, life is living art in and of itself sometimes.

I'm not as brooding as my pictures may indicate and I am not blue either, however, I suppose everyone is prone to bouts of melancholy. I'm a self taught photo shop veteran, which has made me really lazy with painting actual pictures. I don't photograph well because I always seem to be caught with a half open eye, cracked smile, or some other odd expression of sorts.

I have a particular fondness for cookies. I really like thai, mexican, greek and middle eastern foods.

I don't really do movies for some reason, although, I don't mind lying in bed watching one with someone and waiting for something to happen.

I could walk forever in blue jeans, however, I do enjoy dressing up on occasion. I tend to dress somewhat stylishly, or at least I think I do. I do however inevitably drift towards earthy tones though. I dig fashion and don't mind shopping with you, as long as you don't mind my opinions.

I am looking for a queen without a king; someone who can have an intellectual and insightful conversation at one moment and carefree and daring at the next. Someone who will walk in the warm rain and push me into puddles. Someone who has focus, dreams, and determination. Someone who likes hugs, cuddles, and who digs making out. Someone neat in appearance and in personality. Someone who can be patient with me when I get indecisive. Someone who can keep up with my energy and someone who can slow me down and teach me to sleep for hours on end. Kindness and integrity go without saying. You don't have to write creatively, play music or paint, but its totally hot if you do. I'd like to think that I'm good, giving and game, and I expect you to be the same. Life is so rad sometimes; I often wish I could smile at someone and say that.

Being fit is important, but I have to admit that I don't really do the gym thing. I like to go for walks, so that is sometimes my only means of exercise. I still skateboard around town from time to time.

I live by my ipod and music recommendations from my friends, so I am really out of touch with mainstream or contemporary music, but I try to keep my finger on the pulse of some things. Music is a big part of my life, so you must be okay with hearing music or be okay with me playing my guitar and singing you songs. I'll try and shake it up every now and again so you don't hear the same ones over and over again. I like to go to a lot of shows, and hear people spill their soul. I can appreciate a lot of different types of music, but I can't do the country thing. I just don't know why. I guess I truly am a city boy after all.

I have a cat, or I may have a cat, depending upon the circumstances that precede me, however, I couldn't imagine living my life without one. I have a soft spot for animals in general. I'm not vegetarian, however, I do have this odd/strange hang up with food that looked like it could walk.

I have a bachelor's in psychology and I currently do research for a hospital and local university. I am slowly, and painfully getting my M.Ed. I love the brain and neuroscience, but I think I just want to be an English teacher at heart.
