I'm just your average writer/musician/philosopher/theologian/starving artist type. On second thought, I guess that doesn't really make me average by any forced imaginary reality. Regardless, I am me and happy to be so (sometimes). Because labels are always fun, I'm sort of a geek-goth hybrid if that makes any sense. I take the optimism of one side and the pessimism of the other and create a happy medium.

I love music more than anyone could imagine. I'm nominally a bassist, but play a whole host of other string instruments as well. I also read way to much for my own good. I'm trying to learn the German language...that's coming along less than well, but I'm hopeful enough that I'll get somewhere with it. I work as a freelance writer, mostly for my local paper.

Down to the core, I'm looking for someone who is authentic - someone who knows who they are and that life can benefit from a dedication to truly being yourself. Too many people are, as J.D. Salinger so brilliantly endeared, "phony." I think that that's the kind of person I would click with the best.
