Well, first of all, I am 18, and I have been a part of the Goth culture since 8th grade. Of course, back then, I was an extreme BabyBat (such a cute term ^x^) but, since 10th grade I've taken a more serious look at "Gothism". I am currently in the process of finding myself, and the text "Goth Craft" by Raven Digitalis is an extreme help in that regard.Lately I have been quite "obsessed" (for lack of a better word) with being goth, and the deeper I go in to research, more pieces of myself fall in to place.

And, since I have you here, and I feel like telling my life's story, I'll let you in on a little something (Oooh, secrets! Yay!): I am a hybrid baby. I am Black, Native America, and Russian. And, being in a pre*****antly black school from 6th-8th grade, I was surrounded by rap and hip-hop scenes. Strangely enough (to my family, not me), I never liked that type of music. I had a total of 3 CDs, and even then, I didn't listen to them much. Until I met my best friend I was lost as far as who I wanted to be. But now, thanks to her influence, I know. I honestly believe I was born to be Goth. It feels SO right to me, and nothing can change that.

Uhm...I love anime and video games. Yush. I ish a n3rd. w00t.

Someone who knows what it truly means to be "Goth". Or, rather, someone who is willing to e x p l o r e what it means to be a true Goth. I am in a delicate part of my evolution, and I would love to have a mate to make this journey with. I don't really want someone whose been in the scene for more than 7 or 8 years b/c I don't want to feel...well..."stupid" when and if I do something that might not qualify as "Goth" to them. They will have their own set of ideas about what Goth is and they are set. I want someone who will learn WITH me.
