Well this is daunting...erm, ok well I am open minded and friendly, I make inappropriate comments and tend to rant about issues important to me. I am a student studying sociology and social policy, this gets me really excited in a very uncool way. I think I am a bit of a geek in general really. People say I am funny but then people are generally polite to your face.

I get nervous around new people, although often this isn't apparent as I am quite friendly and my nervousness manifests itself in the form of talking shit, I have a real gift for it to be honest. I must look quite approachable as strangers (who are often unhinged to say the least) approach me (often on buses) and share their life story with me as if I somehow have answers for them. This is very disconcerting and makes me slightly afraid of public transport. I like to think I am not judgemental and I always stick up for my friends, I am not very good at sticking up for myself though. Although I am not pathetic or anything, just so we are clear.

I love films (David Lynch, Coen brothers, Mike Leigh, Kevin Smith), books (Bukowski, Fante, Celine, Palahniuk), music (Pixies, Talking Heads, JSBX, RL Burnside, Operation Ivy, The Cramps, I am on lastfm - fried-cheese), comedy like Brasseye, comedians like Bill Hicks and going to gigs. Sitting in an old man pub with friends and talking crap is one of my favourite pastimes. I like art, writing and photography (I am not very good at any of these things though). I think I should have done the whole 'a friend filled this out for me' thing as I'm not very good at this selling yourself malarkey either.

Probably to teach. And to own my own book shop and coffee shop, which is pretty lame as far as life goals go. Curing cancer would also be pretty good, I haven't really put a lot of work in towards that goal though so I am not holding out much hope.
