I'm a smart girl with a deep and abiding love for art movies, Tom Waits

Being politically aware doesn't bring me much peace of mind, but I prefer to keep trying to understand the big picture. I've lived abroad and hope to do so again; if not, I'll just save all my money to travel. I could care less about owning property, though I love my car.

I have a child at home and prefer not to mix dating with my home life unless there's a good reason to change gears.

I love conversation, but am more impressed by the open minded than brainiacs. I enjoy parties as a noun/destination versus partying as a verb.

I'm both spontaneous and fairly reliable, loyal to my friends but willing to tell them when I think they're hurting themselves, and I say what I think is right without being too much of an asshole. Hoping to find someone who can say the same.
