I'm looking for a best friend & life partner. A serious relationship with one special girl which may take time to get into but one that will last for life. I think its important to spend time with each other and share new things and activities, really get to know each other. I value openness and honesty in a relationship, just being honest goes a long way as does being kind and supportive.

One friend has described me as "good friend, loyal, hard working, funny, kind, rational, calm, badass" another said " a caring, loving, and shy person. But once your shell is broken, you're a great person to be around". I refer to myself as selectively social, not antisocial. I'm not one to just talk to a whole crowd but I'll talk to you for hours about random things. Anything really, from aliens to favorite foods to anything you can think of. I like to joke sometimes too. For example, what did the nut say to the nut it was chasing? "Imma cashew" :) Its bad isn't it?

I like heavy metal and classic rock. I work as a mechanic, I weld for myself on personal projects. I love ancient architecture, Roman, Egyptian for example as well as Victorian home styles. A book series I really like is called "Malazan book of the fallen" Each has its own title. Its full of adventure and action, awesome series. I used to read the books while out in the field in the army. I have Thursdays and Sundays off from work so, in planning a future meeting those days work best if we wanna do anything during the day. But, hanging out in the evening is cool most nights.

I don't believe there could be a solid standard for a "first date" of "she must do or say this or go to this place with me". Understanding each person is different, I'd want to spend quality time together, getting to know each other. That could be at either of our homes, out somewhere or just out walking around town. That's whats important, getting to know someone who you are possibly going to spend your life with. As far as it goes I'm quite the stay at home kinda guy, BUT, that doesn't mean I wouldn't go places with you, I think its important to share in and do things with each other that the other enjoys.

I'm originally from PA, its quite a story. We moved to Maine when I was 14. Time in the army aside, I've been here over half my life now, Maine is my home.

I like to play some video games, I'm also known to play card games from time to time. I'd love to hang out & watch a movie or show, play a game at home. During warmer weather, thats when I like to get outside! I like to go biking around town most. Its also when I work on my project car. Being an Automancer in my spare time to revive to life an antique. Old cars are another thing I love. Aside my project car I have a daily driver as well as a 1983 Trans Am. During the summer its fun to just drive around in the Trans Am.

Politically, I'm center right, I'm not registered with any party, much like George Washington I believe political parties are harmful to politics and should have never been used in America.

If Your interested, in the long term I would want someone willing to move to Maine, I may be willing to move to a different city in Maine.
Something I should do more, exercise, like everyone else ;)
