I grew up in the 70's and 80's and fell in love with punk music listening to Sham 69, Agent Orange, MDC, the Dead Milkmen, Dead Kennedys, and a myriad of other notables. My character and humanity, I like to think, were guided by the voices of Oi! The egalitarian ideals of harmony among the working class. I know no race other than the human race, no ideal other than the human ideal. The defining characteristics of being a decent human, to me, include an understanding that all humans are equally valid. I want a counterpart who feels that unity as deeply as I do. Love isn't exclusive to punk, but punks are better at showing love unequivocally. I have a culinary arts degree and a love of travel. Let's go eat, drink, and be merry in every corner of the globe. And see some killer bands while we're at it!
